Disability Counseling

Disability and chronic illness, as I know well, are some of the most difficult human experiences one can go through.

So, when facing these experiences, it's helpful to have support, to be with someone who listens, who knows what it's like, who has taken that kind of journey as well.

Working with people with disability is really rich because there's a meeting of minds, of mutual understanding, meaning that disability and chronic illness frequently can bring someone to their knees and you can frequently feel alone and disconnected from others, even though you need help.

So, learning the skills through relationship and connection and through mutual understanding to overcome whatever can be overcome and to take whatever steps are possible to be taken for a healthier lifestyle, for a greater sense of well-being is what I offer to my clients.
